Forget Dreary Short Winter Days The Hellebores Are Here!

It's the depth of winter and it couldn't be going any slower.  January is behind us and February is short, hopefully sweet.  What possibly could show any sign of spring in the middle of a mountain winter.  Welcome the Hellebores!  Some call them Lenten Roses or Christmas Roses. I prefer to call them a sign of life abundant in a meloncholy winter season.
